JARVIS GREEN OF THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS HONORS TEAM AND MEMORIALIZES FALLEN TEAMMATE

Partial Proceeds will benefit the son of Former New England Patriots Marquise Hill

60 Minute Men

Who: Donalsonville, LA native, Jarvis Green, #97 for the 3-time World Champion New England Patriots
When: Thursday, November 15, 2007
Where: Gillette Stadium
One Patriot Place
Foxborough, MA 02035-1388
What: In honor of the Patriot's current season, Green will give his teammates T-Shirts emblazoned with a "60 Minute Men" logo, which not only speaks to his team's "Play the entire 60 minutes of the game, no matter what" mantra, but also references the patriotic volunteer units of the American Army during the Revolutionary War who were ready for battle at a moment's notice.  Additionally, the shirts will feature a small insignia that says "in memory of Marquise Hill" with the number 91, paying tribute to the lineman they lost in a tragic accident during the off season.
Why: In addition to gifting his teammates with the T-shirts, Jarvis Green will make additional shirts available for sale at local retailers.  A portion of the profits will be put into a trust fund for Marquise's two year old son, Máshy, and his family.  Since Marquise's untimely passing, Jarvis has filled in as a surrogate father for the toddler and has pledged his support going forward.  This summer, Máshy will be Christened with Green and his wife as his godparents.
T-Shirts are now available online. Click here to go to the store.
