Jarvis, how do you think your talents are best utilized, in the 4-3 or as an end rusher in the 3-4? You're my favorite player. Of all time.

It's a little different. The 3-4/4-3 is different but we pretty much have the same techniques. 4-3 is good because I have a better chance of utilizing that tackle one on one. 3-4 is a little harder because if that outside linebacker doesn't come up, I will have to deal with the tackle and the guard together. The blocking schemes against the 3-4 are more about angles.

The Ryan Heck. How in the Heck are you doing. How's the Heck family doing and The precious thing we call life. It's been very sad to watch TV and to see how LA, TX, MS, and ALA get hit like that. The word PRECIOUS is a serious word these days. I'll be home in October to come and see those Tigers. Keep in touch, because I miss my CM dept. Those were some very good days and memories. I miss everything about my days in the CM dept.

Hi Jarvis,
I don’t really have a question, but I saw your PSA last night during the game and wanted to say first and foremost that you, your family and friends back home are in my thoughts and prayers as well as the prayers of the Massachusetts Avenue Baptist Church in Cambridge. I think it is so great that you are getting involved in raising awareness for the victims of this disaster. I met you briefly last summer and you told me about where you were from and what a great place Louisiana is and how different the South is from Massachusetts (since I had never been down South), and your love from your hometown and your home state were apparent. Well I may be getting my chance to see the South as my friends and I are trying to make plans to head down to help in the Hurricane relief efforts. I can’t imagine what it must be like to see the place that you call home and the people back home in such dire straits. I pray that your friends and family back home are safe and that you and that God would grant you all the strength to pick up the pieces and go on. God Bless!!!
